SUMMATION

My life-long aspiration is to become an Architect with specialization in high-rise, large scale architectural projects which vary from commercial, residential and civic functions. This equally matches my desire to become an Urban Planner/Designer with a goal to redevelop urban zones that raise quality of urban life and reinforce sustainable redevelopment and civic identity.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Project Designer - LWDMR Architects

March 2016 - Ongoing

As Project Designer I am assigned the tasks of aiding my employer with the design of large scale residential projects. These include surveying existing site-conditions pre and post construction, aiding with zoning and code studies, planning of programmatic layouts, preparation of construction documents and helping with the development of building forms, materiality, and tectonics in the context of site, location and urban suitability.

Drafter - SEVAN Multi-Site Solutions

October 2015 - November 2015

My responsibilities as drafter entail the production of documentation of existing commercial projects for later redevelopment and renovation by corporate clients. I document as-built elevations through survey measurements to produce two-dimensional drawings of buildings in AutoCAD which are placed on document templates. My responsibilities also entails the labelling of various as-built elements on the elevation so as to identify fenestrations, access points, utilities, and significant architectural features.

Research and Publications Assistant - NJIT

I was hired by the School of Architecture to design school publications oriented towards the display of school-wide projects and individual student designs. I also helped modify print publications to digital format and for graphic re-design of civic and institutional research project prints.

Student - NJIT/Habitat for Humanity

September 2012 – December 2012

My fall 2012 semester was oriented towards an architectural competition to design an environmentally responsible home as part of a Habitat for Humanity initiative to build popular housing for an underprivileged neighborhood in East Orange, NJ. I was one of the finalists in the competition.

Student - NJIT SAH Archipedia
